Covid-19 Guide for Parents - Updated

Dear Parents/Carers,

As we start a new year with Covid continuing to present us with national challenges, I thought it would be helpful to explain measures we have in place in school to reduce the risks for students, staff and families. In addition, I wanted to take this opportunity to remind us all of the actions needed by students to support us with this work.

We are committed to following the government guidance closely to create a safe environment for our children, families and staff. If you are unsure about any of the information please do email us either at [E-Mail not displayed] or via your child’s key tutor.

You will know from the news that staff absences in all areas of work, but particularly schools, is a national concern. Our priority is the ongoing education and support of all of our students and ensuring that we can remain fully open. This is particularly important for our Y11 students who have mock exams and crucial preparation for their GCSEs in May and June. As always, our staff team are committed to being flexible to ensure that all students can attend safely, in many cases stepping in to cover and teach additional lessons. I know you will join me in thanking them for their efforts.
