British Values and students' Spiritual, Moral, Social and Cultural (SMSC) development are embedded throughout our work to support the young people in our school, who we want to thrive socially and academically so that they can become active members of their communities. These are not an "add on" but part of our ongoing work through curriculum delivery, our way of working with young people and engagement with our wider community. We have 3 expectations of our young people - to be ready, respectful and safe - which will allow them to develop a deeper understanding of the rules and traditions of life in modern Britain.
